Costumes and Fall Fun!

The kids had so many cute costumes last week.  They had so much fun posing for pictures, going to the pumpkin patch, and enjoying treats.  Thank you all for helping us have such a fun day!

Getting Our Hands Dirty

We thought that last week would be a good time to get our hands a little dirty.  These kids loved exploring the rice and water.  Please note the floor...its just a little messy.

October 24th

Hello Everyone!

This week we are going to be having a fun Thursday.  We are having PJ Day.  Please send your child in his/her pajamas.  We are also going to be having some messy activities that day (I might suggest not sending them in their best PJs.)

Don't forget that there is no school on Friday.

Our Fall Party is on the 31st of October.  Please sign up to bring something for that day.  Also, please bring $2 for the pizza for that day.

Hello Parents,

October is around the corner!  Next month will be filled with fun and excitement for the children.  Here is what is coming up.

Oct 3/4

Thurs: Picture Day

     Our class will be taking pictures on Thursday.  If there are any of you that would like to have sibling            pictures taken please let us know so that we can plan a time for your kiddos to meet for a picture.

Oct 10/11

Fri: Wear Red (Crimson) Day.  We are a Class Divided so orange is accepted also ; )

Oct 17/18
NO SCHOOL  Fall Break

Oct 24/25

Thurs: PJ Day.

     Please send your child in his or her pajamas.  We are going to be getting messy on this day.  Please        do not send your child in his/her nicest clothes.  Also, please pack a change of clothes.

Fri: NO SCHOOL

Oct 31/Nov 1

Thurs: Fall Party

     I will be sending out additional information about the party.  But, for now, we are asking for parents to         send $2.00 with each child for a pizza party.

September 19-20

Dear Parents,

Recently we have had some changes at FLC regarding teachers.  Sadly, due to changes in other classrooms we have had to say "goodbye" to Ms. Brandi.  She is now teaching an older class.  We are sad to see her go, but are extremely blessed to have Ms. Tara now in our class.

Ms. Tara is a wife and a mom to two beautiful girls.  She was previously teaching a younger group of kids.  She is excited to be with us this year.  She was with us last week and the kids quickly warmed up to her!  Ms. Tara and I are both looking forward to a great year together with your little ones.

This week we are also implementing some new drop-off and pick-up procedures.  We tried it out last week and the children seemed to be a lot happier (a lot less crying involved.)

Drop off - Please wait outside the door until Ms Tara or I come out into the hallway.  We will then take your child's sticker and bring your child into the room.  

Pick up - Please wait in the hallway until we come out with your child.  If we are not already waiting for you by the door please feel free to knock.

Don't forget to wear your FLC shirt this week to show your school spirit.
